Merry Christmas From The Little's

I cannot believe that Christmas is less than a week away!! I am now another year older and fully realize the truth to the statement that I heard so often from my Nannie....time really does fly and babies really do grow so fast! Today I met Justin and Leigha (my bff from Univ. of Mobile) at a local park to do their Christmas portraits. I think I'm probably speaking for every mother out there when I say that getting a family together for portraits on any occasion can often lead to disaster! Don't worry...at the end of the day, the portraits are priceless and the kids settle down and in a week or so those "priceless portraits" are now on your living room wall! Years later when time has "flown by" and the kids are grown...those portraits remain. That memory is forever stilled. That statement...once typed where I can see, brings tears to my eyes. I have to stop to look at our sweet Joeli...She isn't just a memory, we held her close and we watched her grow "so fast". I don't regret those family portrait sessions when I thought I'd loose my mind trying to get everyone ready and on time. I'm really glad that those precious days are forever stilled for me and my family so that we can look back and see the beauty and greatness of such a powerful God. Don't get so caught up this Christmas that you fail to see Christ. We are so lucky to have a God who loves us so much! Thank you Justin, Leigha, Devin, Ashlynn, and Drew!
