The Beauty of a Mother

This Sunday we had the opportunity to photograph not only family but some of our best friends. Adonica and I grew up together and have watched our families grow with each passing year. This session was for her, Matt, and Riley to capture the short weeks before baby Collin will make his grand entrance. The miracle of life is such an amazing thing to witness, it truly shows the essence of our Heavenly Father. Big brother, Riley, got to help with baby Collin's portraits. As a mother, the sight of your children together is breath taking and I can't wait for this family to witness that first hand. Thank you Matt, Adonica, Riley, and baby Collin for letting All Heart Photography be a part of such a once in a lifetime moment in your lives. We love ya'll!

How time flies!

I so enjoy seeing my babies at each new session in their baby plan. I say "my babies" because I honestly feel that these people are family! It's easy to feel that way when someone trusts you with the most important memories in their lives. Although time flies in our own lives and we watch our girls grow daily...it seems even faster for the babies that we don't see on a daily basis. Gavin is such a sweet little boy and an absolute joy to work with. I have to admit he is often the guinea pig of my new ideas! These portraits were done in the studio in our home, we are so excited to be using this space. It is still in progress as far as being complete but it is completely functional. Make sure to check our blog in the future so that you can watch Gavin grow as well. Spring is just around the corner and I have a feeling that his next session will be outside somewhere! Thanks Gavin and Gavin's family for letting us be a part of such a precious time in his life, we love every minute of it!

Happy New Year!

Happy New Year! I pray that this Christmas you found time to appreciate the true meaning of the season. As a new year unfolds so is All Heart Photography. Chad and I recently got a new computer and are quickly approaching some new equipment and software!! Also, Mileigh is now rooming in with her big sister, which opened some room for our studio. I am really excited about that. It is still painted pink and brown from the nursery but functions wonderfully. We will slowly be making renovations as far as color and adding props as often as possible. We are really excited about expanding our clientele and offer a variety of environments for your portraits. We are also excited about hearing your ideas for what you want and open to experimenting with whatever makes you happy. Please do not hesitate to express your ideas and bring whatever you'd like to make that idea come to life. Chad and I make it a point to remember that these are your portraits and not ours...we just make them happen. We appreciate each and every one of our customers and consider it a privilege to work with you. So, contact us for your next portrait session and we will work with you to provide a package that best suits your needs. Happy New Year!
On another note: We know that for most families, Christmas and New Years is a very happy time of year. For our family it is very bittersweet. How we miss Joeli Lynn! We have many hard days and know that many of you do as well. This was Mileigh's first Christmas and the first one that Brelan really understood. As I watched my girls opening gifts and laughing and playing on the floor in our living room, I couldn't help but wonder what my Joeli would have asked for this year. Some days it's harder to swallow than others but I know that she is looking down and loving her baby sisters with the utmost love. She will forever be our perfect child, because in Heaven all things are perfect! I would not wish this hurt on anyone in the world but I also know that we are not alone. I write this because I want you to know our hearts and know us for who we are. We struggle daily with lots of things especially the loss of Joeli. Joeli is a big part of our photography...she covers our walls as do Brelan and Mileigh and I cannot imagine not having those portraits of her. This is the reason that we strive to be as affordable as possible and work with our clients to the best of our ability. The portraits that we take are more than just a family portrait...they're a place in time that you will never get back. If you have made it this far in the post, I appreciate your patience. Thank you, thank you, thank you from the bottom of our hearts! For being our friends and following our lives and for letting us in to the most important parts of your lives. Be blessed, take care, and don't hesitate to contact us!

Merry Christmas from the Mothershead family!

Hey Everyone! Guess what?! Yes I am posting new portraits of my girls today! I would have preferred to do their Christmas portraits on location but the weather here in Mobile, AL. just isn't allowing that. Anyway, I did their portraits in our in home studio and the girls did great! Normally Brelan dispises having her picture made but she did really good. I told her how proud of her I was :). Brelan is almost 3, four months shy of it and Mileigh is 8 months. They amaze me daily and I learn so much from them. This is Mileigh's first Christmas and for Brelan it's the first that she actually understands some of. She so gets the Santa thing and she knows that this is Jesus' birthday. Christmas is very hard for our family but I look forward to seeing my girls' faces on Christmas day when they open their gifts and watch home videos of Joeli and blow the candles out on Jesus' birthday cake. That was something that Joeli started. Her third Christmas when we explained to her that Christmas was Jesus' birthday, she insisted that he have a cake and candles and that we sing to Him! How precious! Oh to have that child like faith once again!

I look forward to your comments on these portraits and please feel free to contact us for your family portraits. Don't forget to sing to Jesus in the midst of your holiday hussle and bussle this Christmas...without Him there would be no Christmas!

We love yall,

Chad, Brittany, and Girls!

Merry Christmas!

Hello Everyone and Merry Christmas from our family to yours! Now that Thanksgiving has passed, we are all in the mood for shopping and lights and last but not least photos! This past weekend I had the privaledge of doing some family Christmas portraits for one of my best friends. The Ellis family is very dear to our hearts and not to mention their children are adorable. Their portraits were taken in downtown Mobile, AL. at Bienville Square with it's massive Christmas tree. I have been doing the Christmas portraits for this family for several years now and have very much enjoyed watching these precious babies grow. How time flies! It brings a tear to my face to think of my girls and the Christmas' past. Joeli loved everything about it and the year that we were blessed with Brelan was amazing to watch them together on Christmas morning. Although the holidays are very bittersweet for our family I do look forward to this Christmas and seeing Brelan and Mileigh together. How I wish our Joeli was here to share this special time with her two baby sisters. I know that Joeli is watching over them both and that there is a special connection in their tiny hearts with her. I long for the day that we are able to celebrate the true meaning of Christmas at the feet of our Heavenly Father together. Please remember that Jesus loves you "all heart" and don't forget to celebrate His birth and what it means for us! Merry Christmas!
